What a weekend A&M dancing competed in the IDTA Nationwide Medallist of the year held at the Empress Ballroom Blackpool in the Classical sequence and Modern Sequence Finals.
There were 7 competitors from the school dancing in 10 competitions over the weekend this being Classical Sequence which includes the Old Time Waltz, Two Step, Tango, Saunter, Gavotte and The Glide with the Modern Sequence dances including Waltz, Quickstep, Tango, Foxtrot, Rumba, Cha Cha and Jive. With fierce competition our dancers did brilliantly from the initial heats to recalls, semi-finals and finals. The School had two finalists achieving a second, third and fifth places, an enjoyable time had by all and a huge well done to those completing along with a thankyou for the support of all family and friends over the weekend.
